ISLAMABAD (News Desk): Federal Minister of State for Interior, Senator Talal Chaudhry, has stated that Pakistan has provided the international community with solid evidence of India's direct involvement in sponsoring terrorism within Pakistani borders.
Speaking to the media, Senator Chaudhry emphasized that the world has begun to acknowledge Pakistan's stance, leading to the designation of groups like the BLA as terrorist organizations. He highlighted that these proxies are trained and funded across the border to carry out destabilizing activities in Pakistan.
Key Highlights of the Statement:
Indian Proxies: The Minister noted that India, unable to face Pakistan in direct conflict, has increased its investment in proxies that target soft targets, including schools and marketplaces.
Human Shields: He condemned the use of women and children as human shields by terrorists, calling it a cowardly act that exposes their true nature.
BLA Designation: Chaudhry credited Pakistan's diplomatic efforts for the global recognition of the BLA as a terrorist entity based on the irrefutable evidence provided by the state.
Internal Accountability: The Senator also criticized the previous administration for negligence in areas like the Tirah Valley, where promised infrastructure and security measures were reportedly not implemented, leading to financial discrepancies.
Talal Chaudhry reaffirmed the government's commitment to the National Action Plan, stating that the pursuit of fleeing terrorists continues and the state will not rest until peace is fully restored.
